Snyder Baseball Academy, in association with GDLL and the Haymarket Bulls, is offering a unique program this fall for players preparing for high school baseball. This is a sevenweek program and will meet twice per week; once indoor at the SBA facility in Haymarket, and once outdoor on the field. This is an opportunity to improve both individual and team skills, while working with the best coaches and instructors in the area. The program is open to all players. Minimum age is 14, or 8th grade. Players will be grouped by age and experience. WEDNESDAYS – INDOOR at SBA– 6:00-9:00 PM – Topics to be covered will be hitting instruction, fielding and throwing, pitchers’ bullpen sessions, and speed and agility. The speed and agility program is designed and will be led by NEXT LEVEL FITNESS and PERFORMANCE**, with an emphasis on sport specific conditioning, including first step lateral movements. SUNDAYS – OUTDOOR at CATHARPIN/LONG PARK– 9:00-11:00 AM – We will focus on position specific training, team defense, situational hitting, base running, intra squad scrimmages, and possible games with local teams. Mark Harris, Infield Coordinator of the Kansas City Royals, will be present for the start of the outdoor workouts. SBA indoor facility will be used in case of inclement weather.
